Today's weather;
Samui is enjoying Makha Bucha day (Buddhist observance commemorating the Buddha's teaching of Ovada Patimokkha) under a near blue sky with a current temp of 26C at 7am.
All official institutions like banks and the like will be closed today and all bars will be closed tonight around Thailand, including Samui.
1,250 monks from all locations and directions, to meet and be ordained by the Buddha, one of the two events that are celebrated during Makha Bucha day.
Yesterday saw a nice and warm day again with plenty of sunshine and blue skies. Max temp reached 29C
